Resolutions

Since it has been 8 months since my last post, I thought I should make an update. My initial New Year's resolutions were to read 50 books, save money, get down to my lowest adult weight and something else that I can't remember. It may have had to do with push ups. So far the only one that is going well is the saving money part. I have only lost 4 pounds and have only read 4 books.
Maybe a good resolution would be to try and update my blog at least once a week. Ok, let's start small and go for once a month.
On Saturday I am going to Colorado with Myers, Laura and Matt. Myers is sick and I am trying to nurse him back to health. So far my "nursing" has consisted of buying Sprite Zero and Gatorade for him at the gas station and sitting here while he tries to rest. I would like to think I am a good nurse so far. If my help has not completely healed Myers by tomorrow morning I will insist he go to the doctor. No one wants to be sick for a vacation.
I realized in the last few days that I have weekend plans for the next 8 weeks. That is highly uncommon for me. Usually I have nothing going on. Our trip to Colorado should be a good kickoff to the two months of busyness. I look forward to seeing baby David and babies Foghorn and Leghorn. I think I will like Leghorn the best of all the chickens.
Tonight I was going to do a packing "trial run" to make sure I have everything necessary for a ski trip. Instead I think I will make some spaghetti and watch tv.
I will check in next week (hopefully).
Current TV Shows:
American Idol is the only new show on tonight. We have "Hard Time" on the DVR and need to watch another episode of Band of Brothers.

I like the new look! How did you find such a cool background. I think I will like that one slightly brownish chicken the best. Myers better get better...or else he can't have any monkey bread!!!
Does Laura mean, "Brown chicken, brown cow?" because that's inappropriate.
